Video #2: Foods for Inflammation and Period Cramps

Oh, those period cramps that many of us know all too well. They come around, eat all of our food, and demand to curl up in bed with us while we watch Netflix.

They’re kind of like a bad hangover. Or ex.

Luckily, our cramps are also amazing teachers (as are hangovers and exes and most uncomfortable things in life) and can help us cue into our bodies, what we’re eating and how it may be affecting our cycle symptoms.

This week’s video is all about how to ease period cramps and overall inflammation in the body through the foods we eat. These foods are also supporters for those of us who struggle with an irregular menstrual cycle.

You’ll learn more about:

  • Your gal Primrose!! Primrose is high in GLA  and in this video you’ll learn just what that means, why this is important for our cells + how it affects our hormones (including menstrual cramping pain).
  • Why it’s important to eat foods that are free of pesticides, whenever possible, but especially during your cycle.
  • The wonders of B6 + Omega 3’s + foods that contain these.
  • Next time your period cramps arrive with a side of inflammation, you’ll know what to do to make sure you’re in charge of what movie the three of you are watching on Netflix. And to ensure your food is safe, don’t forget to check out the attached recipe. You’ll be saying bye to your cramps before the movie ends.

Aches and pains no more,

PS: Common PMS woes such as mood swings, cramps, and hormonal acne can leave us feeling depleted and withdrawn. This month, let’s be extra gentle and honor our bodies with self-care.
