Love Yo'Self Giveaway: Pure Luxe Apothecary
Google Clare Fraser from Outlander and boom, you’ve got Leslie. Well, maybe not the “Scotland in the 18th century” part, but in the healer and health aspect at the very least. Leslie exudes integrity, creating products for people that continuously revitalizes them in a holistic manner. She pours her heart and soul into every creation and infuses beauty as much as she does health. After all, being surrounded by beauty has as much an effect on our body and soul as any medicine.

What makes you tick/what are you most passionate about? Health is one of the biggest motivators for me. That was really the impetus behind creating Pure Luxe Apothecary. It combines my passion for plants and holistic health with creating and making things that support wellbeing.
Tell us one of your values and how you support it in everyday life: Continually learning. There’s so much I’m curious about and intrigued by, whether it’s a new plant oil, new way of thinking, new place, or otherwise. I read every day and am always on the lookout for opportunities to expand knowledge, ideas, and perspective. It’s addictive!
Your go-to self-care action/item: Two things are critical for me - sleeping well and eating well. I consider both of these self-care, since they require intention and thoughtfulness (... it’s so easy to let them slide and not sleep or eat well...). I try to make them joyful rituals in my routine. Doing so sets me up for positive, productive, and fun days.
What you love about yourself: I’m grateful to be an optimistic, glass-half-full person. And I'm a firm believer in the idea that "life is 10% what happens to you, and 90% how you react." There’s so much beauty and incredibly good energy in the world, and I’m lucky to have family and loved ones around me who also choose to celebrate and magnify that.
How you show love to others: Listening is an important one - really listening. Also simple, meaningful things like spending time with someone, sending a short note, being present, asking questions. And of course I love making things for other people, especially food and natural remedies.
Shout out to a human that inspires the Hell out of you (and who you want to give some love to): I’ve been reading a lot of Brene Brown’s work lately and she absolutely inspires the hell out of me. She talks about the real, gritty, and meaningful stuff of life - like vulnerability, courage, wholeheartedness, and belonging. And she does so with a sense of humor and humbleness as well. I admire her sharing her very personal work and insights - that bravery has helped so many people.
